 Join Two Rebels Off Grid @ Outlaw Acres Farm for a hands-on homestead workshop where you will learn by doing! Participants will help lay Hyperadobe bags, work with cob, and gain real experience with natural building methods. We will be sharing our top-secret cob recipe with you to take home.  You’ll also enjoy a guided tour of our completely off-grid homestead, share delicious home-cooked meals, and learn what daily life off-grid is really like. Two Rebels Off Grid @ Outlaw Acres Farm

In 2022, we left city life behind to build a slower, more intentional, and sustainable life in the country. After years of practicing permaculture in our Colorado backyard, raising animals, growing food, and dreaming bigger, we sold everything and purchased our 36-acre homestead in Southeast Arizona.

Today, we are building Outlaw Acres Farm using Hyperadobe and other natural methods that work beautifully in the high desert climate. Through hands-on workshops and homestead experiences, we share practical skills, inspiration, and a real look at off-grid living.

Saturday, September 19

Workshop kick off and welcome, introductions, guided homestead tour, question/answer time

accommodations

Stay on Site:  Stay Saturday night on our beautiful and peaceful off-grid homestead property and get a real feel for what it's like to live off grid!  Our rural property is located just 20 minutes outside of Tombstone, AZ in the foothills of the Dragoon Mountains.  Guests are welcome to tent camp on the property or bring a self-contained RV for dry camping Saturday night. Please note that we do not offer RV hookups, water fill stations, or dumping services. A bathroom with a toilet and sink is available for guest use, and trash disposal is provided. Showers are not available on-site.  

Stay Locally:  Stay locally in one of many Air B&Bs, hotels, campgrounds, or boondocking sites.  The towns closest to us are:  Tombstone (20 mins), Bisbee (50 mins), or Sierra Vista (45 mins)

additional details

  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and may not enter the animal paddocks.
  • Space is limited, so early booking is recommended.
  • Dogs or other animals are not permitted on the property for liability reasons.
  • If a serious weather event is expected, the workshop may be rescheduled.
  • Additional arrival, packing, and event details will be provided closer to the workshop date.
